Different techniques like plain radiography, contrast radiography and tomography are employed. Radiological imaging gives details about anatomical and structural alterations in an organ, eg, foreign bodies in the bronchi, consolidation of the lungs, cardiac enlargement, abnormalities of bones, etc.
